It is very much essential to tell you that, society place a very big role in making a Criminal. This is a case of a Young Girl who unfortunately interacted with bad friend circle in her College days. In January 2019, an intoxicated Pooja Sawant with his Husband got into a terrible dispute with their neighbors.
Things got out of hand after the parties to the dispute started abusing & physically assaulting each other. For which both got arrested U/s 353, 427, 504, 506, 34 of IPC. Pooja lives with her Uncle & Aunty along with Younger brother who is Mentally & Physically disabled. Behind the bars, Pooja had time to reflect upon her deeds. She gained a new perspective about life, She studied and appeared for the HSC examination & passed with flying colors inside Kalyan Jail. We were pleased with her transformation in just a span of 8 Months.
After looking a Family condition GCF helped and paid Bail Amount of Rs.15,000 /- for her Release. GCF is assisting her with free skill development courses & is helping her set goals for herself.
