Legal & Financial AID

Many a time it is observed that people are lost in the legal maze due to no or improper legal guidance that they receive. As a result, if their family member is an accused, he/she remains languishing behind the bars while the family members keep running pillar to post between courts, jails, advocate offices and the police station. Also, they are so poor that they cannot afford to engage a defense advocate or pay for consultation of the advocate.

A poor family needs both consultation, guidance as well as finances for bail in order to get their family member released from the jails. Sometimes the families are so distraught that they require food and shelter too.

Global Care Foundation believes that poverty is one of the largest reasons for the growing crime rate in India, and in order to curb it poverty even if not completely eradicated, the poor can be helped with their basic needs in order to help them and prevent them enter the vicious cycle of crime.

Hence we provide Legal and Financial Aid to Non-Habitual / First time offenders, Under-Trial Prisoners who belong to Poor / Socio-economically weak family background irrespective of their Caste, Creed and Religion.

  • A Panel of Advocates visits the Jails and does the counselling of the Inmates.
  • During counselling sessions when we confirm that the accused Person is a Non-Habitual / First Time Offender, then we proceed with the Home Verification Process.
  • On finding the genuineness of the accused from gathered information as per records and an application from Accused’s Family that they are in need of Legal / Financial help, then we process for release by Hon’ble Court.
  • After release of the accused on bail or acquittal, we consult them to analyze the reason behind their arrest and try to Rehabilitate / Develop their skills / Assist for education / Job placements as per the need and circumstances with the collaboration of prominent NGO’s.

Free Legal Aid Clinic

Many legal matters the common man does not whom to approach or what has to be done for his legal problems. Other times, people with legal problems cannot afford the legal consultation fees of the advocates. Also, there are times when people require second opinions or are being misled by too much information from a lot of advocates. In such scenarios free legal aid from our experts helps them gain clarity over their matter.

When it comes to matrimonial or property matters, our advocates try to resolve the matters without letting the issue reach the court.

Thus, we provide Free Legal Advice through Legal Aid Clinic especially to those who are facing Matrimonial disputes, Civil / Criminal Matters and they don’t have financial backup as well as are unable to engage an appropriate/ genuine lawyer. We also help them to access governmental schemes in legal assistance and Free Lawyer through DLSA.

  • One of the primary concerns is the monetary support for all the legal proceedings
  • The Legal Aid Clinic is open on Saturday from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. with prior appointment only.
  • We also refer our panel of advocates for an effective legal remedy in case of emergency.

Legal / Social Awareness Program

Awareness with respect to rights, duties, common laws, impact of contemporary legal issues on the people, implementation of new laws, governmental policies for various strata of the society, etc. is highly lacking across the layers of the society.

In today’s time an aware population is paramount to the development and success of the nation. It is imperative that the masses are informed and for them to gain access to information we conduct Legal / Social Awareness Programs since to what extent a community progresses is dependent upon their Youth’s activities. Legal/ Social Awareness helps creating awareness and changing the attitude of the society along with bringing forth such examples present in the society such that they set a good example for the next generation.

  • DLSA provides yearly schedule of Awareness Programs addressing different topics which are conducted as per need of the hour.
  • We are keenly interested to collaborate / take help of local NGOs, Youth and local officials, to reach maximum people.

Para Legal Training Program

Although the judicial and legal machinery in the country is widespread, it is still beyond the reach of the common man. By the time the common man reaches the right fora to get his issues addressed it is always too late for an apt remedy. In order to penetrate the society better and resolve the issues of the common man in a more systematic way, there is requirement of individuals who know the fundamentals of the working of the legal machinery and can assist the masses as and when the need arises.

Thus, Para Legal Training Programs are conducted by Global Care Foundation. Para Legal Training Programs are basic training programs designed to increase legal knowledge especially of the educated class of people and Law Students so that they can help / assist the needy people to get their legal rights.
