We are pleased to inform you about the release of Haider Ali (19). He was an HSC dropout and worked in a water supply job. One day his senior was riding a bike with him and unfortunately they broke into an argument with a cop that escalated to a verbal fight due to which Haider got arrested on 15th March 2019 and spent over 7 Months in Arthur Road Jail. He was the sole earning member of the family and after his arrest, his Mother, who has separated from his mentally ill father, found it very difficult to manage the day to day needs of the family. They shifted to Titwala as she could no longer afford the rent of their residence. After his release, we counseled him and now he’s ready to study further. He will also join a skill development center.
