We are pleased to announce the release of Shafiq Ansari (M, 54). Due to heavy debt he was lured to take a shortcut in order to collect funds for returning the debt and before he could commit any crime he was arrested. He was arrested U/s 399 and 402. While the main culprits managed to get released on bail, Shafiq’s family, due to their poor financial condition could not afford to pay his entire bail amount of Rs. 25,000. They went through immense financial hardships during the 7 months that he was behind the bars.
GCF, after a detailed study of his circumstances, decided to give him a second chance, and paid his bail amount, during post release counseling he pledge that he’ll not do again the same.
