It is with great relief that we would like to announce that Nasir Gajmer has finally been released on bail. Gajmer and his entire family were arrested on the suspicion on being illegal Bangladeshi citizens. He and his son were put in Taloja jail while his wife and daughter were put in Kalyan Jail. Gajmer and his family, have been living in Mumbai for the past 20 years. Their documents, however, are all in order and they were wrongfully arrested on suspicion. GCF after learning about their plight decided to take up their cases. We managed to get Mr. Gajmer released on bail by paying his bail amount of Rs. 15000 /- after he had spent 10 months in Jail.
We are in the process of getting his wife and children released on bail too.
