Noorjaha Mehmood Mulla was accused of selling children to those couples who were looking to adopt. Life in Jail was extremely difficult & took a terrible toll on her health. She was suffering for Last stage of TB and Cancer by which she was Paralyzed. Prayas a Project of Tata Institute of Social Science [TISS] had referred this Case on the request of Jail Superintendent for providing Financial Aid.
GCF had verified her case thoroughly. We took her extreme ill health under consideration & got her released by paying her bail amount of Rs. 10,000 /-. We reunited a terminally ill woman with her family so that she can spend the rest of her life with them.
